Current notice and scope
This page replaces the August 2022 PDF for the Snap Platform public website. It covers public vacancy browsing, applications, staffing requests, application-status lookup, optional analytics, job alerts and local browser preferences. Account portal processing is also governed by the role-specific notices presented in those services.
Who to contact
SNAP RECRUITMENT LTD is the data controller. For privacy questions or to exercise your data-protection rights, email info@snap-recruitment.co.uk.
Take care with information you submit
Do not include sensitive personal information about individual workers or candidates in a staffing-request note. Add only the role and site information needed to understand the work.
Current public-site processing summary
- Application and staffing-request details are used to review the request, assign follow-up and respond to the contact supplied.
- Optional public analytics is off by default and records only jobs-board views, filtered searches and no-result searches, bounded ShiftFit checks, saved/compared/shared job actions, My Work view/action categories, brief-draft actions, status-lookup steps, job-alert journey steps, vacancy views, application starts and completions, and staffing-request starts and completions after a current versioned consent record is granted. Receipt references and contact details are never analytics dimensions.
- Analytics consent policy
2026-07-14records the choice and an ISO timestamp in browser cookies for no more than 365 days. A legacy unversioned grant is not accepted as fresh consent. - Campaign and external-referrer attribution is held only in the current browser session after consent and is removed on denial or revocation.
- My Work, saved jobs and explicitly saved ShiftFit choices use bounded browser storage on the current device. They can contain public vacancy summaries, low-sensitivity work preferences and receipt references, but never email, phone, documents, notes or exact site addresses.
- An employer brief draft is saved only when requested, expires after no more than 7 days and contains bounded workforce-planning fields only. It excludes contact details, exact addresses, notes, rates, purchase-order references, attachments and consent choices.
- A request IP hash is consumed only by the atomic 60-second limiter and is never stored in analytics event metadata.
- Analytics events are retained for 90 days, then removed by an hourly service-only database purge.
- The public site is hosted and deployed through Vercel and uses Supabase-backed operational records; the published notice and processor register must remain aligned with those services.
